Interview with Unknown Subject

Australian Workers Film Guide

Summary

The subject received a writ a couple of months after a strike action. The writ was delivered at night time. He wondered why, since the strike had been resolved. It was charges against the strike action from the government. He took it to the union next day for lawyers to look at it. Even though over 300 hundred men went on strike, only 107 in total of the men were issued with subpoenas. The worker is worried about these AWA laws and what they can do to his children. They take away so many rights and privileges. Australian people do not want these reforms. These systems take away your right to protect yourself. Still shots and footage of the subject with his three daughters in the kitchen and at the front of the house for later editing of the interview.
